So how did the Agile manifesto come about?

In 2001 a couple of Software visionaries gathered in some resorts in Utah to share their experiences and to figure out why so many software projects were failing, this was not about documentation best practices they knew the industry required a fundamental shift in values, and therefore they had extensive conversations and collaboration that lead to the birth of the Agile manifesto which is now hosted at this website. https://agilemanifesto.org/
